Common sense house building

For too long housing development in WO has been directed by large developers and local plans have mirrored their preferences. There is a housing shortage but it shouldn't be built at any 'cost' to existing residents. The Witney North development is unsustainable on many counts: flooding, traffic, sewerage, landscape degradation. Switching to the South Witney site mitigates all these factors, as has been shown by the site development of land opposite the Curbridge on A40. It's time to develop with common sense not be lead around by developers with a pure profit motivation.
