Council help with listed building greening
From "Ask a question"
Go to the project
We would like to drastically improve the environmental performance and living comfort of our grade II listed house, but seem to be caught between the conservation and the environment teams at our local councils. Is there an environment contact who specialise in listed buildings in the area who can help us understand what’s possible with insulation, window replacement and solar panels etc? Everything feels like a flat “no” currently. We’d be happy to be a case study for the hundreds of similar properties in our area. Many thanks.
