The site has the potential to provide new dwellings in the south corner of the site adjacent to the built up area, or utilising the whole of the site to provide affordable housing. There are opportunities for the green/amenity space and a footpath link to give access to the public.
The site is just within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, however the site is contained by mature vegetation as such views into and out of the field are limited. There are two 'important views' across the site as designated in the Finstock conservation area appraisal and the site is within the Wychwood Project Area.
