The site lies to the east of Witney Road, Ducklington. The site achieved outline planning permission for up to 120 dwellings in January 2023. Its location to the north of Ducklington means it is easily accessible to Witney and and can therefore benefit from the services and facilities this key settlement provides.
A Planning Inspector found this site to be sustainable and deliverable. Given the planning permission already granted, it can already contribute to the housing requirement within West Oxfordshire to 2041 and therefore, makes sense to be allocated within this Local Plan review.
