On behalf of the Trustees, we are committed to continuing to work towards delivering a quality residential-led development at the East Witney Strategic Development Area (SDA). The emerging Local Plan provides an opportunity to properly plan for the development of the Trustees’ wider land holding as shown on the attached plan. The Trustees aspirations in this regard are for additional housing over and above the 450 homes identified in the current Local Plan, a community hub (to serve the larger scheme and the wider local community) and an element of employment-generating development. The wider scheme also has the ability to deliver additional social, economic and environmental benefits.
