The whole site covers an area of approximately 20ha and is located to the west of Burford, immediately adjacent to existing built development. The site lies in Flood Zone 1, the area at lowest risk of flooding. The site lies within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and adjacent to the western boundary of the Burford Conservation Area. There are no known environmental designations on the site.
