To address the elevated nitrogen dioxide (NO2) concentrations in both Witney and Chipping Norton, West Oxfordshire District Council is required to develop an Air Quality Action Plan for each town. The Air Quality Action Plans (AQAPs) have been drafted with the assistance of Ricardo Energy & Environment, and consultation with Steering Groups comprising key stakeholders who live, work or represent businesses operating in each town.
Before completing this questionnaire, please read the draft Air Quality Action Plan relevant to you, particularly the list of proposed measures in Section 5.
We have extracted the measures from each of the documents and they can be found as a separate file below.

The survey will run from Monday 5th June to Friday 14th July. Following closure of the consultation, the feedback will be assessed and the final version compiled. The final version will then be submitted to DEFRA for approval. We anticipate this will take around three months with the final document to be available to the public around mid autumn.
